Vet Carter Reece and gorgeous blind Isaac Brannigan meet apropos of Isaac’s guide dog Brady. They start dating, love develops slowly out of friendship, not much steam.
Isaac is arrogant and moody due to his tragic life and losses. It is kind of a defense-mechanism, plus he has really not much experience in relationships. He often acts infantile and throws tantrums.
“I’m quite obnoxious apparently, and have a tendency to be rude.”
It sounded as though he was quoting Hannah. So I added, “You forgot moody.”
“Oh, and moody.”
I shook my head and smiled at him. “And handsome.”
Isaac is not affectionate with his dog because he is scared he’d lose him too just like his previous dogs. It really wears Carter down.
